YOUTH INC LA stands for Youth Overcoming Unemployment Transportation and Housing
We are a nonprofit organization based in Los Angeles committed to helping underserved and at-risk youth build stable and successful futures

Our Mission

We provide youth with the tools they need to overcome life’s biggest barriers. This includes homelessness unemployment lack of transportation and limited access to education
Our goal is to create long-term stability and opportunity

Who We Serve

We support foster youth probationary youth and young people at risk of homelessness. Our services are designed for those facing systemic challenges and limited support

Community Collaboration

We work hand-in-hand with social workers educators foster parents and mental health professionals. Together we build a strong support network around every youth to help them thrive

Dr Kalilu Kamara – Founder and CEO

Meet the Founder

Dr Kalilu Kamara founded YOUTH INC LA to create real change in the lives of young people facing difficult circumstances. With a background in youth mentorship education and the music industry he brings passion experience and a deep personal understanding of the challenges young people face today. His commitment to empowering youth is also reflected in the Music Entrepreneur Program which teaches creative and business skills through real-world experience and mentorship
